The Citywide Issues Group
for citywide and regional issues
facing LA's Neighborhood Councils

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Friends:
The LA Neighborhood Council Citywide Issues Group (LACNissues) group generally convenes for a short meeting immediately following the conclusion of the Alliance of Neighborhood Councils Forums, held every other month (see the website listed below for current information).
Because we try to stay on top of issues, we sometimes also meet in the off-month, or for specail meetings or events, including the twice yearly Congress of Neighborhoods, too.
Here's the info for the next meeting of the
Alliance of Neighborhood Councils
Neighborhood Council Leader:
The Citywide Alliance of Neighborhood Councils Forum usually meets on the third Saturday of every other month ... in January, March, May, July, September and November
...in the Faculty Lounge on the Los Angeles City College Campus, on Vermont Avenue, just north of Melrose and the 101 Freeway in East Hollywood.
The Alliance Forums are held at 9:30am, and the Keynote Speakers are announced in advance. We hope to see some of you there ...
The Forums always feature a discussion focusing on recent Neighborhood Council issues and topics, and often include an appearance by a City Councilmember and a head of a City Department. Greg Nelson, the General Manager of DONE, is always there to answer NC questions and keep the stakeholders up to date.
